We are located in Whitefish, Montana, a distinctive small community heavily dependent on tourism. Whitefish lies in the northwestern corner of the Flathead Valley, an intermontane valley surrounded by spectacular mountains and recreational opportunities.
Flathead Valley is nestled in the heart of the Crown of the Continent. Surrounded by mountains, the Flathead Region is home to Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River, and Whitefish Lake, where historical waterfront prices are the highest of any in all of Montana. Numerous small communities are scattered throughout the region, together with innumerable lakes, rivers, and streams. Two significant apline ski areas, the Whitefish Mountain Resort (formerly called the Big Mountain), and Blacktail Mountain are minutes away from virtually any part of the valley. Glacier National Park is within a 30 minute drive, and 11% of the original Wild and Scenic Rivers in the continental United States are within 50 miles, as are the Great Bear and Bob Marshall Wilderness Areas. A dozen golf courses, and hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails offer recreational alternatives according to the season. Fishing is excellent year round, subject only to changing fishing methods as the seasons change.
Continental Crown derives its name in honor of Glacier National Park and the uniquely wonderful region found in Northwestern Montana often referred to as the Crown of the Continent. The Broker also served on the Planning Board and the Whitefish City Council, contributing to the quality of life we experience in the region. Upon leaving the Council, the Broker undertook many consulting tasks for the City of Whitefish, including strategic services planning, together with projects for other agencies or units of local government. This past experience is available to serve you, the Client of the brokerage, experience not to be found in other real estate firms in Northwest Montana.

To assist you in your desire to sell your property, we have prepared a booklet, "Your Guide to Selling Your Home or Property" , offered as a guide to listing your home or other property for sale. A companion booklet will soon be available for Buyers. While neither booklet can be totally comprehensive, we believe they will explain many of the issues and concerns you may have, about the process of selling your home or property, or about acquiring a home or other property. Your Continental Crown Associate will be able to further explain all the many aspects of these processes, which can sometimes become quite interesting and intimidating, to say the least.
If you are selling a property, our task is to develop and implement a reasonable marketing strategy for your property, to coordinate the showing of your property to prospective Buyers, to assist you in negotiating the terms and conditions of a Purchase Contract (Buy-Sell Agreement) when a Buyer offers to purchase, and to then expedite and manage all the many details that must be addressed so that the Closing (transfer of ownership in exchange for an agreed amount of money) can occur as scheduled.
If you are buying a property, our mandate is to ensure that all of the necessary inspections and contingencies are handled in a timely manner to ensure that Closing will occur on schedule. Sometimes this becomes a real challenge, particularly if unanticipated problems arise.
